Roxanna was still extremely worried even when in the relative quiet of the simulation room. Several booths flanked the walls One or two were already in use and were quietly humming away. Ever the useful conversationalist Roxanna just stood, not saying anything waiting for Kadeem to be the first one to make a move. She didn't really know what he had in mind for a battle simulation, if it was based on their mission or not. Eyes drooped a little and there was the slightest will in the back of her mind to let out a yawn. Repressed she went back to looking nervous and out of place.

A while that was far too long to be comfortable passed before Kadeem was the one to head towards the first of the machines. Getting pretty angry at herself for her own complete lack of action Roxanna followed suit. Right now it was a lack of sleep, a large amount of tense pressure from her new mission and new suit along with being rather antisocial that kept her this way. It was much more apparent that normal and her mind seemed to be somewhere else entirely, she was also in the process of becoming quite smitten with a certain someone. None of this helped her current situation at all, she hated herself for acting the way she was right now but there was almost nothing she could think of to counter it. Her normal tactics didn't work when her brain was still swamped. On auto pilot she picked up a white helmet that was hanging on the wall and slid lightly into an empty booth. Removing her cap and sliding the helmet over her black hair she settled in. Leaving the options all up to Kadeem she just went through checking the booth and the controls and waited for him to talk to her.

Heading toward the booth he had picked out, he too had grabbed a helmet from off the wall and slid it over his head as he climbed into the simulator booth. No words had been said between them and from what he knew about the girl, he figured she wouldn't be the one to suggest the situation for the simulator. He hadn't known her all that long but he took note of what he could. She was quiet and usually kept to herself, at least that is what he had gathered thus far. He was also taking note of the fact that she seemed unusually out of it at the moment, more so than normal form what he gathered. He wasn't going to bring it up though, not now anyways. If she didn't feel up to this she would have said no to me. He reached back to pull the dread-locked ponytail out from the back of the helmet a bit and started his booth up, making sure it was synced with the one Roxanna had picked to use. He himself had slid into the one across from hers and with everything looking good, he rolled the sleeves of his green military uniform up just below the elbows and unfastened the collar. This reveled the tattoos on his wrists as well as the light blue t-shirt beneath his uniform. He crossed his arms over his shoulders and leaned back in the make-shift cockpit before speaking to Roxanna. "So how about we simulate something on earth since I need to touch up on combat under gravity... How about an island setting with some ocean and ground alike?" He figured she would be okay with it, and even though he guessed she was leaving the choices up to him, he wanted to be sure. He still thought she seemed somewhat off but he really couldn't be all that sure. She is a PO, so her skills in combat have to be good... maybe her performance will tell me if something is wrong or not. He awaited a response before inputting the setting into the simulator, though he was fairly sure she would say yes.

Roxanna held onto his words for a little while before her mind came up with an answer. The idea seemed fine but it didn't close all that much down as to what the simulation would be. Was a it a strait battle between the two of them, what type of suits should they be using? She needed to brush up on her DINN piloting still but with some suits that wouldn't even come close to being a balanced battle, did that matter? Maybe it would be best if she just stuck with the DINN. Replying with a voice that give hints of just how out of it she was right now, “That seems fine,” She pausing, hanging for a moment, “What unit do you want to use?” Her face didn't move up from the controls as she spoke, her mind in several other places than here. The Templar was something she had been told to test out, maybe if it was large islands that might be an idea. Maybe.
